Production EDM
Traditionally, EDM has been used solely in the manufacture of die and mold components. However, with today's faster-cutting EDM equipment, Unified Tool is also able to utilize EDM as a competitive process for many production applications. EDM can be an ideal production solution when working with exotic materials, intricate contours, and difficult-to-deburr parts. In many cases, the ability to provide innovative and accurate fixtures is the deciding factor in whether a job can or can not be "EDM efficient". Our toolmaking and engineering experience makes Unified Tool fully capable of providing accurate fixtures for these applications, a quality that we feel separates Unified Tool from many of our competitors.
